JP-8 is one of the biggest synth hits in the world history! A classic polyphonic synth with great capabilities and very warm and punchy sound. Sounds created with JP-8 are used as basic waves in virtually all professional Roland synths made since early 1990s.

  • 8-voice polyphony, 2 oscillators per voice; layering/splitting of two patches; super-fat unison (solo) mode

    Osc 1: saw, triangle, pulse, square with PWM; osc 2: saw, triangle, pulse, noise; oscillator 1->2 frequency cross-modulation; oscillator sync

    Resonant -12/24 dB/octave LPF controlable by it's own ADSR envelope, LFO and keyboard tracking; -6 dB/octave HPF

    LFO with saw, triangle, sine and S&H waveforms; ADSR envelope for VCA

    64 patch locations; built-in arpeggiator
