Roland JX-3P (1983)
JX-3P is one of the first analog synths from Roland with completely digital control: all sound parameters are edited via parameter selection buttons and value dial. It was also one of the very first Roland synths to feature MIDI.

- Two DCOs with range selector, sync and cross-modulation; saw, pulse and square waves in both oscillators, noise waveform for osc 2; DCO2 also has coarse/fine tune
- Resonant/self-oscillating -24 dB low-pass VCF; non-resonant HPF
- ADSR envelope for VCA with gate mode; can also modulate DCO pitch and VCF
- LFO with sine, square and S&H waveforms; can modulate DCO, VCF (switchable polarity) and VCA
- 32 preset and 32 user patch memories; simple sequencer
